Computer Simulation of Cellular Phone Antenna

Revaz wanted to research and develop of a new type of health safety antenna for use in Personal Communications Systems (PCS), such as mobile phones, with optimal geometric size and shape to provide desirable electric and radiation characteristics. He designed the physical model of a new type of drop-shaped metallic antenna - covered by a dielectric layer. Then he developed a software package with a user-friendly interface to investigate the feeding and radiating properties of the antenna structure. Different types of antenna feeding were simulated in order to achieve the best matching. Revaz hopes that his program package along with recommendations for optimal parameters of his antenna could form the basis for making much more ecologically and safe antennae.
