Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves on a Car

Electromagnetic radiation in terms of classical theory is the flow of energy at the universal speed of light through free space or through a material medium in the form of the electric and magnetic fields that make up electromagnetic waves such as radio waves, visible light, and gamma rays. In such a wave, time-varying electric and magnetic fields are mutually linked with each other at right angles and perpendicular to the direction of motion. An electromagnetic wave is characterized by its intensity and the frequency v of the time variation of the electric and magnetic fields. Alex himself set out to explore the electromagnetic-wave character of light by studying the spread of electromagnetic waves (the diffraction processes) occurring in a car. He chose a suitable method for finding the distribution of electromagnetic field in the space inside and outside the car. The geometry of the car surface was modified to the state available for the method used. He developed a program that simulates the diffraction processes that occur in cars and used the results obtained in some particular cases of distribution of radiation.
