2000-2030:     -Meeting of escorts and national organisers

 Excursion to Sogn:

0947-1038:     -Train Myrdal-Flåm on the Flåm Railway
1400-1600:     -Visit to the Aurland Hydroelectric Power Plants (E-CO Vannkraft AS)
1400-1600:     -Visit to the Lærdal Tunnel (National Public Roads Administration)
1700-1800:     -High speed catamaran voyage with M/S Solundir from Lærdal to Balestrand on the Sogne Fjord

1800-1900: EU Contest Lecture by Research Leader Helge Drange of the G.C. Rieber Climate Institute at Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Centre (University of Bergen, Faculty of Law at Dragefjellet)
1900-1930: Presentation by two former participants at the European Youth Science Contests: Roar Inge Hansen (Philips Contest - Oslo 1979) and Ellen Viste (EU Contest - Berlin 1993), both meteorologists at Storm Weather Center (University of Bergen, Faculty of Law at Dragefjellet)
1930-2030: Reception at the University of Bergen. (University of Bergen, Faculty of Law at Dragefjellet)
 
 
Tuesday 18 September  -  Opening and Business

1300-1700: EU Research Symposium presenting opportunities in the the European Union research programmes for Norwegian businesses and research institutions (Grieghallen - "Peer Gynt")
1400-1700: Exchange of Best National Young Scientists Practice chaired by Professor Jan Madey, Vice-Rector of Warsaw University (Grieghallen - "Troldtog")
