Main Title: 13th European Union Contest for Young Scientists - Bergen, Norway, September 2001

Lagerlöf

The group "Lagerlöf" is named after the Swedish novelist Selma Lagerlöf (1858-1940), recipient of the Nobel prize in Literature 1909 "in appreciation of the lofty idealism, vivid imagination and spiritual perception that characterize her writings".

Staale Engen Ståle Engen is the student helper responsible for "Lagerlöf"

Ståle studies law at the University of Oslo. He started Trondheim Young Scientists before moving to Oslo. He has been in charge of the Nordic Space Camps at Andøya Rocket Range since 1997 and will now lead these camps as a European event. Ståle has served on the board of the Norwegian Association of Young Scientists several years and was it's vice president 1999-2001. Ståle represented Norway at the Nobel prizes in Stockholm in 1996. Ståle is also a keen reader of books - he both works part-time at a book shop and keeps his own extensive library.
