Cajal

The group "Cajal" is named after the Spanish physician Santiago Ramón y Cajal (1852-1934), recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 1906 (with Camillo Golgi) "in recognition of their work on the structure of the nervous system".

Aase Merethe Raddum Aase Merethe Raddum is the student helper responsible for "Cajal"

Aase is a Rotary exchange student in Ecuador in 2000-2001. She won a second prize as well as the Research Council of Norway Honorary Award when she presented a project in sociology at the Norwegian Contest for Young Scientists in 1998 together with two friends. Aase co-founded the youth science club in her native southern Norwegian town of Arendal.
